Mission Statement

The time for political posturing is long past.  Only a bi-partisan plan that permits the orderly withdrawal of American forces from Iraq can ensure future stability in the entire Middle East.

The first goal is withdrawal of American troops from Iraq.  We call for an orderly Withdrawal of American Troops to begin within six months.

We believe this is a necessary first step in forcing the Iraqis to handle their own problems.

We believe our presence there is enabling Iraqis to engage in sectarian violence, leaving the United States to provide protection while taking the blame for it all.

Families of the Fallen for Change supports our troops.  We believe anyone who agrees to serve and protect, despite the danger to his or her own safety, lives as a hero and deserves our respect and support.

However, the organization also believes it is possible to support our troops while being critical of a policy that puts them in greater danger than necessary.

This non-profit organization calls for measurable action on these goals:

  1. A workable, bi-partisan plan to end to the war in Iraq as soon as possible.
  2. No expansion of the conflict beyond Iraqi borders.
  1. Fully-paid medical, prosthetic, and psychological care for as long as is necessary for those injured as a result of military service in Iraq and Afghanistan.

In the mid-nineteenth century, Abraham Lincoln said it was time to think and act anew.  Families of the Fallen for Change think that time has come again.  For our families, it is too late.  For those still in Iraq or about to go, it is not too late.  This effort is for them.
